PRAYER

Prayer is the heartbeat of the ministry of the Evangelical Association of Malawi. It is an act of obedience, because God calls us to pray:

  • “… praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.” (Ephesians 6:18)

  • “… do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” (Phillipians 4:6)

  • “Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.” (Colossians 4:2)

  • “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

  • “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people …” (1 Timothy 2:1)

Prayer is communication with our creator and Lord, that allows us to participate in God’s work. It keeps us humble, because it reminds us that everything good comes from the father above. Where other means may fail, prayer still can succeed. So, please pray for the various ministries of the Evangelical Association of Malawi (EAM).

VOLUNTEER

People who volunteer with the Evangelical Association of Malawi (EAM) share our mission to have a united evangelical church actively engaged in effective holistic ministries positively changing lives in communities in Malawi and beyond. Volunteering with EAM is a opportunity to use your skills, to live your faith, to gain valuable experiences and to meet people who are driven by the desire to improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable and poorest people. By changing one life you change the world!
